The Art Dealers Association of America (ADAA) is a non-profit membership organization of the nation's leading galleries in the fine arts. Founded in 1962, the ADAA seeks to promote the highest standards of connoisseurship, scholarship and ethical practice within the profession. The ADAA members deal primarily in paintings, sculpture, prints, drawings and photographs from the Renaissance to the present day. Each ADAA member is an experienced and knowledgeable dealer in their field. The ADAA has 160 member galleries in more than 25 U.S. cities.
American Craft Council
The American Craft Council is a national, nonprofit educational organization dedicated to promoting understanding and appreciation of contemporary American craft. Founded by Aileen Osborn Webb in 1943, the Council has a distinguished history of innovative programming that has provided a vital base for the emergence of the contemporary craft movement in the United States in the decades since the Second World War. The Council is today the leading voice for the crafts in America, celebrating the remarkable achievement of the many gifted artists working in the media of clay, fiber, glass, metal, wood and other materials. Programs through which the Council supports the field include the bimonthly magazine American Craft, annual retail and wholesale shows, and a special library on contemporary craft, education grants, workshops, seminars and other services to the public. As a membership organization, the Council welcomes those with an interest in or curiosity about the crafts. Many institutions and individuals belong to the Council—not only artists, but teachers, scholars, collectors, gallery owners and professionals in several fields, in the U.S. and abroad.
American Print Alliance
The American Print Alliance is a consortium of non-profit printmakers' councils in the United States and Canada. The Alliance focuses on ways to increase prints' visibility by banding together to realize projects that separate councils could not individually support. Publisher of Contemporary Impressions.

Konstakuten. The Art Emergency Room
Konstakuten (The Art Emergency Room) is a melting pot for young cultural projects and exhibitions which create a platform for art alongside the established commercial galleries in Stockholm. We're driven by an interest in a broad spectrum of activities and possibilities that we see in our society today. We have the possibility to form a discussion between artists and collaborators and one of our goals is to act as a geographically extended studio and forum for artists and others that are interested. The gallery represents ideas and tendencies rather than single artists and form an arena and meeting point for art and other art forms such as music, design, architecture, film and poetry. Our program is fast and dynamic. Alongside the regular shows we run longer or shorter projects, discussions, events and releases. Our goal is to run a non-hierarchic space.

Gallery 825/Los Angeles Art Association (LAAA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit arts organization supporting Southern California artists, with an emphasis on emerging talent. love and devotion is a platform from where we create situations we feel are relevant. We investigate our surroundings and ask our questions. We make new encounters, interact, visit each other and others, make new contacts. love and devotion is the atmosphere we wish to transmit while connecting. So far we've established communication with such diverse people and places as the Salvation Army, a local taxicompany in the northern town of Umeå, the Swedish church, the dean of a university, a mayor, an academy of art, a recordcompany, a band, the police, a bunch of people from the art scene, and many more. Stay tuned! love and devotion - is a project initiated by Ingrid Eriksson, Carina Gunnars, Karin Johnson and Anna Kindgren. We are four of the twelve artists that formed the group Swe.De (Swedish Department) that had its home at the gallery, Ynglingagatan 1 (Y1), in Stockholm. We all graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts, Umeå University between 95 - 97. Love and devotion was first launched at the Academy of Fine Arts, Umeå University in the fall of 2000. We all live and work in Stockholm, Sweden.

Maryland Printmakers
Founded in 1989 by Sam Peters and John Sparks, Maryland Printmakers is an organization that educates the public concerning the techniques, nature and functions of printmaking, and encourages and advances the art of printmaking. Maryland Printmakers, Inc., is a charitable non-profit corporation. he objective of the organization is to promote printmaking to the general public and artists working in the media through sponsorship of the following: juried, non-juried and traveling exhibits, a slide registry, a newsletter, charitable and educational lectures, demonstrations and programs. Membership is open to any individual committed to the promotion of printmaking. Maryland Printmakers currently has more than 250 members internationally.
MESH
m-e-s-h- is a group show that is taking over Broadway Market. All the work is made by artists using stitch. For nine days thirty artists will be showing two and three dimensional work in three different venues along this colourful road. This group exhibition celebrates the joy of the object. The work uses a variety of different techniques and materials as diverse as goose eggs, plastic carrier bags, industrial flex and organza. Social, domestic and artistic issues are investigated using parodies of minimalist work, extreme samplers and investigations of ageing. The exhibition is unified by the literal and metaphorical threads between all the artist’s work.
Milwaukee Artists Resource Network
Milwaukee Artist Resource Network (MARN) is a non-profit, art-service organization dedicated to enriching the community by supporting individual literary, performing and visual artists. MARN provides its members with access to educational and professional resources and creates a network for local artists to collaborate their ideas and projects. MARN sponsors arts-related events, facilitates an open dialogue among artists and promotes the arts to the community. MULE
Mule is a collaborative project-oriented exhibition concept located in Chicago. As artists, our purpose is to facilitate and champion the exhibition of fellow emerging artists, specifically those who approach art-making from challenging perspectives and mediums. Mule travels, works, and exhibits in various spaces while taking thoughtful consideration to choose and incorporate the surrounding environment into the exhibition itself. Hardworking, sometimes stubborn, but always glamorous, Mule pushes head first into exhibition projects bringing studio practice, experience and knowledge into the curatorial process.

N55 works with art as a part of everyday life. N55 numbers four persons, Rikke Luther, Ion Sørvin, Cecilia Wendt and Ingvil Hareide Aarbakke, who work together, share places to live, economy, and means of production. N55 is based both in the N55 SPACEFRAME situated in Copenhagen, and in LAND. N55 has its own means of production and distribution. Manuals for N55 things are published at www.N55.dk and in the N55 periodical. Furthermore, N55 things are implemented in various situations around the world, initiated by N55 or in collaboration with different persons and institutions. N55 is non-commercial. N55 is financed primarily by exhibitions, grants and educational work.

De Nederlandse Galerie Associatie (NGA) is de overkoepelende vereniging van de Nederlandse Vereniging van Galeriehouders (NVG) en de Galeriebond Nederland (GbN). Nelson Mandela Metropolitan Art Museum
The Nelson Mandela Metropolitan Art Museum is situated at the entrance to St George’s Park in Park Drive, Port Elizabeth, South Africa. The collections consist of South African art (particularly that of the Eastern Cape Province), British art, international printmaking and Oriental art (including Indian miniatures and Chinese textiles). These are supplemented by an active programme of temporary exhibitions.

Oregon Potters Society
The non-profit Oregon Potters Association is a group of potters working in Oregon and Southwest Washington, USA. Our goal is to promote individual creativity, excellence and growth through education and a cooperative spirit. The OPA serves as a professional liaison to the public and galleries, businesses, publications and arts agencies both locally and nationally. Our members organize cooperative purchases to obtain pottery supplies, books and materials at quantity discount prices. Straddling the divergent streams that divide the old and the new, tradition and revolution, this Los Angeles-based group of painters has come together as a group, PHARMAKA, to embark on the resurrection of what some have called a dying or anachronistic art: painting.

Agency for Photography and Photo Projects Photography now is an agency for Photography and Video Art, founded in Stuttgart in 1998 and based in Berlin since 2000. The agency holds exhibitions and is responsible for all aspects of photographic art consulting and exhibition management. The agency has a strong contact base in Europe and is now expanding internationally. Photography now facilitates contacts, projects, exhibitions, publicity and promotion and related practises. Conducting research on an ongoing basis in the areas of Art and Commercial photography, the agency advises and develops work with and for corporate clients, event organizers, sponsors, collectors, editorial teams, and advertising agencies. Through its involvement in such a variety of activities and such a diverse group of institutions, the agency is continually challenged in cultivating new and original means of working with Photography.

The subaltern.org web site is maintained by the Polvo Art Collective formed in 1996, who have over the years published an art magazine and showcased contemporary art at Polvo in Chicago's Pilsen neighborhood.
Private Art Dealers Association
The Private Art Dealers Association, PADA, was chartered in 1990 as a not-for-profit organization. PADA represents a select group of dealers, each of whom specializes in a particular area of the fine arts and works from a non-public space. PADA members guarantee the authenticity of all art they sell. Membership in PADA is by invitation and is offered only to qualified dealers who have been in business for at least five years. Each PADA member must be a specialist with recognized expertise in his or her field and maintain a corresponding inventory. Members are required to have demonstrated the highest level of integrity and professionalism in dealings with colleagues, institutions and the public. Election to PADA is also based on a dealerís scholarship and contributions to the art community. PADA offers a fine art appraisal service that provides tax valuations for estate purposes and donations to charitable institutions at competitive rates. Red76 Arts Group
Red76 arts group was formed in February of 2000. Since it's inception the group has curated, presented, and produced more than 30 exhibitions and events, as well as 8cd's and an arts/culture journal entitled Dis-connect. Red76 arts group's goal is to provide new and challenging ideas and frameworks in which to display contemporary art and thought, as well as trying to devise means to incorporate these works and ideas into the daily lives of the general public.
Regional Arts and Culture Council
Through vision, leadership, and service, the Regional Arts & Culture Council of the Portland Metro Area (RACC) works to integrate arts and culture in all aspects of community life. RACC has served the Portland tri-county area since its inception in 1995, when the city’s Metropolitan Arts Commission transitioned into a separate not-for-profit organization based upon the recommendation of ArtsPlan 2000+, a far-reaching blueprint for arts and culture in the region. RACC is the steward of public investment in arts and culture, and works to create an environment in which the arts and culture of the region can flourish and prosper. Using arts and culture as our tools, RACC plays a significant role in regional and community development. RACC also provides direct support for artists and arts organizations.
San Francisco Art Dealers Association
The San Francisco Art Dealers Association, founded in 1972, is a non-profit organization composed of 31 member galleries throughout the Bay Area. The Association is dedicated to promoting public awareness of the visual arts and furthering art education in the community. Member galleries of the SFADA represent the highest standards and quality of fine art. The work which SFADA member galleries exhibit ranges from early 19th and 20th Century American and European Paintings and Prints to Early Modernist and Contemporary Painting, Sculpture, Prints, Photography, Crafts and Conceptual Installations by Regional, National and International Artists. Members must be exhibiting art galleries who mount regularly changing exhibitions related to a school, theme or discipline. All members are galleries of reputation with expert knowledge in the field of work they represent and have the highest ethical and professional standards in conducting business. New members must share mutual interests and goals consistent with the present membership. Membership is by invitation only.

The Arts Council

The Copley Society
Co|So, the oldest non-profit art association in the United States, represents more than 500 artist members nationwide. Co|So is dedicated to fostering interest in the visual arts through member exhibitions, educational outreach programs, workshops, lectures and the advancement of the careers of emerging and young artists. Artist membership is based on competitive review; juried exhibitions and a professional credentialing system offering artists opportunity for further distinction. The House of Peyne
The House of Payne is a multi faceted arts group working within Chicago organizing events several times a year at there south side location in Pilsen. The House of Payne consists of lighting designer/actor/Secritary Dan “Squints” Findley, soft sculptor/Special Projects Manager Kevin “KD” Dee’ and project oriented painter/stencil artist/President Martin “Marty” Garcia. Bringing grass roots art activism and formal origination together with hard work and long hours nothing is imposable. All shows are treated with the greatest respect down to the finest details, video, lights, décor, etc. are all taken into account with every new concept, no talent goes unused and no resource goes untapped. The Print Council of America
An incorporated non-profit organization of print specialists with a mission to foster the creation, dissemination, and appreciation of fine prints. Also provides a forum for print curators and other specialists to meet, share ideas, debate issues, update each other on work in progress, and discuss and implement Council projects.
The Printmakers Council
The Printmakers Council was founded in 1965 to promote the art of printmaking and the work of contemporary printmakers. It continues to pursue this aim by organising a program of exhibitions in London, throughout the U.K. and worldwide. These exhibitions show both traditional skills and innovatory printmaking techniques. The PMC has a slide index and planchest of PMC members work which is regularly consulted by galleries, exhibition organisers and potential buyers. Membership is open to all printmakers, students, interested groups and individuals. Recent PMC exhibitions have been mounted at The Natural History Museum, Battersea Pumphouse, Wakefield and in Paris at Musee Adzak. PMC Print Workshops have recently been organised for members at the Artichoke Print Workshop and at the Pitshanger Hanger Manor Gallery.
The Society of London Art Dealers
The Society of London Art Dealers was founded in 1932 to promote and protect the good name and interests of the art trade, and to enhance public confidence in responsible fine art dealing. Its members, around 100, have a proven reputation in their field and have signed an undertaking to observe high standards of fair and honest dealing. The Society has a vital role to play in representing the interests of its members in discussions with the government and other professional bodies on current issues concerning the art trade. These issues are wide ranging but cover highly important topics such as Droit de Suite, VAT legislation and regulations concerning the import and export of artworks throughout the world. The Society is also there to provide its members with specialist advice on taxation and legal matters. It publishes a quarterly newsletter, a directory of members, and numerous information sheets on topics of essential interest to the art trade.

Vancouver New Music is a non-profit organization based in Vancouver, Canada. Vancouver New Music presents and produces cutting edge and experimental music events and contemporary sonic art, embracing a wide range of genres and formats, featuring local, national and international artists. Visual Buffet Public Arts
Visual Buffet Public Arts The arts are part of all our lives and around us everywhere. Civic leaders understand the importance of creating a sense of place in the urban environment, and how citizens interact with that space. In 2001, Visual Buffet Enterprises board of directors approved a Comprehensive Arts Policy to show its support for the arts, to provide policy direction, and to consolidate all arts-related policies together.
